Microsoft - Gates = ?

. Friday, June 27

Today, Bill Gates will retire. He is the man many love to hate, yet he has put computers on desks around the world. Sure, there have been flops along the way; but no man has been as responsible for a major cultural change, for pushing us into the Information Age, as he has. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the whole IT sector comes to a screeching halt. That will be sad indeed.

Hey there. Gates knew what he was doing. It's going to be extremely interesting to see where the company goes from here.

Hiya, Metall! Yeah, with his company always producing bloated software, he drove the forward motion of the hardware side of things too. My fingers are crossed that the whoe shebang keeps its forward motion!

Still Bill Gates is truly a charity giving man.

Yeah, I seen this on the news. I was shocked.

Bill has done much throughout his life, right, wrong or indifferent he had changed this globe into an huge network. Good for him for retiring, he's earned it!

I agree that he's more than earned his retirement. No doubt there. He just picked a bad time to do it though, in terms of the economic situation right now. I suppose that gives him more reasons to delve into his charities too, but the bigger picture needs him too.

I'd actually vote for Bill Gates if he ran for president, you know?
